INTER HOUSE TEAM WINS 1ST PLACE AT 2019 SOLAR DECATHLON AFRICA!
L’Inter House is an American-Morrocan Team. Many students from Mines participated including EE graduate Michael Blonsky and undergraduates Christian Amundson, Christopher Burroughs, Ryan Reschak, Linlee Morrison, and Zoe Logan. The team went through 1.5 years in planning and designing, 3 weeks of construction, and 2 weeks of testing and presenting the Inter House to judges in 10 categories: Engineering & Construction, Innovation, Architecture, Market Appeal, Communications & Social Awareness, Home Life & Entertainment, Electrical Energy Balance, Appliances, Sustainability, and Comfort Conditions. Inter House was awarded the highest combined score in all 10 contests. Individual contest results can be viewed on the SDA website.
